Teaching is our specialty ~ we are not a music store that rents or sells instruments. This allows us to focus on providing high quality music instruction.

The 8th Note Music Studio facility is clean and tidy, with plenty of seating for waiting parents, as well as books and toys available for younger children who need to wait for older siblings. I also like that I can hear parts of the lesson.
8th Note Music Studio provides an amazing introduction to music! As a life long musician, I wanted my boys to learn how to play piano and read music. Two years ago, I asked our school music teacher for a recommendation, and she pointed me to 8th Note Music Studio. I could not have been more pleased! Heather Lombard has been fantastic at working with both of my boys (now ages 7 and 10). Being different ages, each one of them has different needs, and she expertly tailored each boy’s lessons to meet their individual needs and interests. I love that she not only teaches the basics but also encourages creativity and song writing even in young learners. I continue to see the value of lessons beyond just learning music.
